LA SEMANA COMENIUS (5 al 9 de mayo de 2014) DEL CORAZÓN DE MARÍA CONTADA POR LOS ALUMNOS DE LA OPTATIVA DE 4ºE.S.O EUROPA EN LA ESCUELA
Durante la semana Comenius, que duró cinco días, conocimos a
gente de diferentes nacionalidades: portugueses, franceses, checos y alemanes. Con
ellos realizamos numerosas actividades desde el lunes 5 hasta el viernes 9 de
Mayo.
Comenzamos la semana europea con una cena de bienvenida, y
aquí fuimos conociéndonos y relacionándonos con ellos.

El primer día, para mí, fue el mejor de todos ya que
conocimos a todas las personas con las que íbamos a compartir la semana.

El martes salimos del colegio a las 9 de la mañana y, una
vez allí, nos repartimos en grupos, formados por, al menos, un alumno de cada
nacionalidad (uno español, uno checo, un francés uno portugués, ya que los
alumnos alemanes se marcharon después de acabar la cena del lunes). Todos los
alumnos españoles teníamos preparada una explicación de la Universidad Laboral
para los alumnos extranjeros. Tras esto, todos los alumnos, extranjeros y
españoles, subimos a la Torre de la Laboral, donde se puede una bonita vista de
una parte de Gijón.

A las once nos dirigimos en bus al Llagar Trabanco.
Hicimos una visita por las instalaciones y tuvo lugar una degustación de sidra
y queso.

Una vez finalizada la visita al Llagar, el bus nos llevó a
Cimadevilla donde nos contaron un poco la historia y vimos la zona.
Posteriormente nos fuimos a comer, los extranjeros al comedor y nosotros, los
españoles, a nuestra casa. A las 16:00 teníamos que estar ya de vuelta en el
colegio, donde hicimos el Comenius Survival Kit.

En el colegio, formamos grupos de gente de cada nacionalidad.
Nuestro objetivo: crear una especia de “Survival Kit” mediante el cual
aprendiésemos cosas de los demás países de nuestros compañeros. El resultado,
yo creo que fue más que bueno. Al inicio de la actividad no nos veíamos capaces
de decir ni “Hola” en checo. Es por eso que creo que ha sido una actividad
estupenda para fomentar nuestra cultura y absorber la de los demás.

El miércoles los alumnos de Comenius nos fuimos junto con
los checos, portugueses y alemanes a la capital de Asturias, Oviedo. A las 9
nos montamos en el bus y al llegar una
guía comenzó a explicarnos el casco viejo de Oviedo, el mercado, el
ayuntamiento, etc.

Cuando la visita finalizó nos dejaron sobre una hora de
tiempo libre para andar por Oviedo, dar un paseo, comprar algo de comer, ir al
baño, ir de tiendas…
Después de finalizar el tiempo libre fuimos al punto de
encuentro donde habíamos quedado, que era en la plaza de la Catedral, en frente
de la estatua de La Regenta, donde la fuente.
Cuando ya estábamos todos reunidos, nos explicaron que ahora
tendríamos que hacer una Gymkhana por la ciudad. Nos explicaron las reglas y lo
que teníamos que hacer. Consistía en hacer fotos a los edificios del mapa que
nos señalaba unas instrucciones que nos dieron.

Por la tarde regresamos al colegio a las 4 de la tarde más o
menos, nos separaron en clases distintas, separados por nacionalidad para hacer
un Power Point sobre nuestro colegio y las distintas actividades que realizamos
como las Jornadas de la Solidaridad y también para hablar y explicar nuestros
resultados de las encuestas sobre Europa.

Nada más acabar las presentaciones, nos bajaron al salón de
actos del colegio para hacer un acto de clausura ya que al día siguiente iban a
marchar los portugueses. En ella, hablaron los directores de cada colegio dando
las gracias por la acogida y contando la experiencia vivida durante esa semana.
Al final, todos los alumnos subieron al escenario para recoger un regalo que
les daba el colegio.

El jueves 8 de mayo, comenzamos las actividades a las 9 de
la mañana. Bajamos al patio y nos repartimos las clases de primaria en las que
íbamos a realizar las exposiciones a lo largo de la mañana. Después, sobre las
9.30, llegaron los alumnos de Comenius y nos organizamos en grupos de 3
personas, en los que había un solo español. Subimos a las aulas del laboratorio
y de informática y con los ordenadores portátiles preparamos una exposición
para los niños de primaria. En ella, hablábamos sobre los lugares más
importantes, la comida típica, algunas palabras en cada idioma y acerca de los
países de los que procedían los alumnos extranjeros. A las 11 y 11.30
realizamos las presentaciones, las cuales salieron muy bien y los niños les
regalaron a los franceses y checos algunos recuerdos relacionados con Europa
hechos por ellos.

Tras una buena mañana en compañía, separamos nuestros
caminos por un corto espacio de tiempo, ya que ellos, tuvieron algo de tiempo
libre por el centro de la ciudad, y nosotros nos fuimos a reponer fuerzas con
la comida. Cuando llego el momento, nos reencontramos de nuevo en el colegio, y
pusimos rumbo hacia el Valle de Samuño, donde nos iban a presentar de forma muy
didáctica la mina y demás curiosidades. Aquí fue donde pasamos algunos de los
mejores momentos de la semana, ya que para transportarse desde la entrada al
complejo hasta lo que podemos llamar el `museo´ debíamos coger un tren, lo cual
resulto muy de nuestro agrado.
La vuelta a casa implicó la despedida de los compañeros
europeos que aun permanecían con nosotros, aunque a partir de ahora también
podrán ser considerados como amigos.

El viernes nos fuimos a la universidad laboral a las afueras
de la ciudad de Gijon porque participábamos en el concurso Jean Monnet con
otros colegios de Asturias.
Daniel Ferrer Prieto
Diversos colegios nos reunimos coincidiendo con el Día de
Europa y escuchamos a dos eurodiputados; Salvador Garriga y Antonio Masip,
hablar sobre la situación actual de Europa, respondiendo a un turno de
preguntas entre los colegios. Nos hablaron sobre el parlamento europeo,
incluyendo algún comentario sobre la actual situación de Ucrania y también una
interesante anécdota sobre la anexión de España a Europa. También se trataron
otros temas como el sistema educativo y la inmigración.

Cuando se dieron los resultados, nuestro colegio recibió el
tercer premio. A continuación, los tres equipos ganadores subimos a hacernos
fotos con los dos eurodiputados y con los carteles que habíamos presentado en
la biblioteca de la Universidad.

Esta semana fue una gran experiencia, sin duda, me gustaría
repetirlo, y que más gente pudiese participar y disfrutar de ella. Además,
también fue muy enriquecedora para nosotros, ya que pudimos practicar más
nuestro inglés, y aprender cosas sobre otros países y sus idiomas.

When the tour ended we left about an hour of free time to walk around Oviedo, take a walk, get something to eat, toileting, shopping ...
ResponderEliminarAfter completing the free time we went to the meeting point where we had been, it was in Cathedral Square, in front of the statue of The Regent, where the source.
When we were all together and we explained that we would now have to make a Gymkhana Tour. They explained the rules and what we had to do. Was to take pictures of buildings map pointing us instructions we got.
In the School, we made groups of people from diferent nationalities. Our objective was doing an activity called "Survival Kit", and with it we learnt lot of different stuff from other countries. At the begining of the activity I have to say that I could never think I will fisnish knowing how to say "hi" in Czech. That was a wonderful experience learning about the other cultures.
ResponderEliminarOn Tuesday we left the school at 9 am and, once there, we split into groups, formed by at least one student from each nationality (one Spanish, one Czech, one French one Portuguese, as German students they left after finishing dinner on Monday). All Spanish students had prepared an explanation of the Labour University for foreign students. By now, all students, foreigners and Spaniards climbed the Tower of Labor, where can a nice view of part of Gijón.
ResponderEliminarOn Friday we went to Laboral University on the outskirts of the city of Gijon because we were participating in the Jean Monnet competition with other schools in Asturias
ResponderEliminarIn the afternoon we went to the school about the 4 P.M more or less, we got in different classes for our nationalities to do a Power Point about our school and the different activities we do, like the “Jornadas de la Solidaridad” and to talk and explain our results from the European’s quiz.
ResponderEliminarAfter a good morning in company, we separate our ways for a short lapse of time, since they, they had something of free time as the center of the city, and we went away to re-putting forces with the food. When I come the moment, we meet again again in the college, and we put course towards Samuño's Valley, where they were going to present of very didactic form the mine and other curiosities. Here it was where happen some of the best moments of the week, since to be transported from the entry to the complex up to what we can call `museum ' we had to take a train, which I ensue very from our pleasure. The return to house implied the farewell of the European companions that even they were remaining with us, though from now also they will be able to be considered to be friends.
ResponderEliminarThe first day, for me, was the best ever and we met all the people that were going to share the week.
ResponderEliminarJust after the presentations, the teachers took us to the school’s assembly hall to made a closing event because the next day the portuguese were going to leave. In the closing event, the directors of each school thanked us for the kindness and they spoke about the lived experience the last week. At the end, all the students took the stage to recived a present giving for us.
ResponderEliminarDuring Comenius week, which lasted for five days, we met people from diferent nacionalities: Portuguese, French, Czech and German. We did many activities with them from Monday 5th to Friday 9th of May. We began this week with a welcome dinner and here we started knowing each other.
ResponderEliminarAt eleven o'clock we finished, so we went back to the bus to go to the Llagar Trabanco. We took a tour around the installations and we tasted cider and cheese.
ResponderEliminarOn Wednesday, along with students of Comenius, we went with the Czechs, Portuguese and German to the capital of Asturias, Oviedo. At 9 we rode the bus to get a guide and began to explain to the old town of Oviedo, market, town hall, etc..
ResponderEliminarWhen we finished the visit to the Llagar, the bus took us to Cimadevilla where they told us a little bit of the history about the place. After this, the spanish people went home, but the others students went to the cantine. At 16:00 we had to be in the school, when we did the Survival Kit.
ResponderEliminarThis week was a great experience, definitely, I would like to repeat it, and that more people could participate and enjoy it. Furthermore, it was also very rewarding for us as we were able to practice our English more, and learn about other countries and their languages.
ResponderEliminarVarious schools met coinciding with Europe Day, and we listened to the two politics talking about the actual situation of Europe, answering questions of each school. Garriga and Masip told us about the European parliament, and they included some comments about the actual situation of Ucraine, and also one interesting anecdote about the annexation of Spain to Europe in the past century. Some issues about the education system and immigration were also commented.
ResponderEliminarOn Thursday May 8, we started activities at 9 am. We went down to the courtyard and handed us the primary classes in which we were going to make exhibitions during the morning. Then about 9:30, Comenius students arrived and we were organized into groups of 3, in which there was a Spanish only. We went to the classroom and computer room with laptops and prepare a presentation for primary school children. In it, we talked about the most important places, typical food, some words in diferent languages and about the countries from which foreign students came. At 11 and 11.30 carry presentations, which went very well and the children gave to the French and Czechs some related souvenirs made by them about Europe.
ResponderEliminarWhen they gave us the results, our school won the third place. Then, the winners took photos with the two MEPs and the works that we have presented at the University's library.
